Owner founder Darek Wajda describes the inspiration behind Zebop Records, “we’ve been here in this town for a few years now and noticed something was lacking that this community asked us for.”
“There hasn’t been a record store in Westfield for years”, we started to hear from a lot of our customers. So, we decided it was time to upgrade the store with the space we had available.
The goal was to make the space more efficient for the brands current needs and create something fresh. A new pastime, something we knew the community would appreciate.
Wajda, who owns other locations in Hoboken, Montclair, Red Bank and Jersey City has been updating his spaces to include new sections that incorporate the communities wants and desires.
“The brands built entirely on customer feedback. We never would have made it this far if we didn’t ask our customers for their honest opinions.”
Join them at Zebop Records on Elm Street to see their collection of vinyls new and old. They also sell CD’s and have a small curated collection of Funko-Pops.
